  • Founding Teacher

    We’re thrilled to introduce Mrs. Hodge as one of the amazing teachers joining Salt and Light Academy! With eight years of teaching experience, a masters degree in curriculum and instruction, and a specialization in gifted and talented education. Abbie brings both knowledge and passion to our school.

    What truly sets her apart is her heart for teaching. Abbie aligns perfectly with our core values at Salt and Light Academy, and is dedicated to nurturing the whole child - mind, body and spirit, ensuring that each student grows academically and spiritually.

    Abbie and her husband Trey, along with their sweet baby girl (born in March), are excited to join our community. We are excited to have her on board as one of our two incredible teachers for this first year, and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

  • Founding Teacher

    With nearly a decade of classroom experience and certifications in General Education (EC-6), ESL, and the Science of Teaching Reading, Morgan brings a rich background in early childhood education and a deep commitment to student growth.

    What sets Morgan apart is both her expertise and her heart. She believes that all children should have the opportunity to learn in the way that’s best for them and consistently aims for growth in every child - academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her passion for hands-on learning, love for the Lord, and her heart for ministry make her a natural fit for our mission at Salt and Light.

    We are thrilled to have Morgan and her husband, along with their three children, join our Salt and Light family. We can’t wait for you to meet her and to see the joy and purpose she brings to Salt and Light Academy!
